Typical barrel-tile eave gap on a Florida roof, empty opening
A typical tile-eave gap. This is the size bats use at dusk.

Pictures on this page show typical openings. They are not photographs of a specific job.

What the free inspection is

What you notice

  • A stream of small animals leaving one gap at dusk. Not birds.
  • Crumbling droppings under the gap, often with insect parts.
  • Stain and a musky smell at a tile eave, ridge, or soffit.
  • Noise in a wall at dawn and dusk. Quiet at midday.
  • One bat in a living room is a health question first. It is not proof of a colony.

How a job goes

Inspect

Dusk watch. Count the exits. Name the season.

Remove

One-way door after young can fly. They leave. They cannot come back.

Exclude

Close the gap with mesh a bat cannot re-enter.

Repair

The device comes off. The tile eave or soffit is built shut.

How much?
Inspection is free. Price depends on how many gaps and whether young can fly yet.
Can you do it in June?
We can look. We do not seal flightless young in. Exclusion waits until they can fly.
Can you fog them?
No. No poison. No fog. No relocation.
Will they come back?
