Mouse Removal

Mice Control in Brevard & Orange County, FL

Mice in the house? We seal pencil-width gaps and trap what's inside — exclusion first, not bait stations that leave odor problems in the walls.

Wild mouse standing on sandy ground while nibbling food

Florida homes often have multiple entries: garage seals, dryer vents, plumbing penetrations, and utility gaps. Spray-only pest visits miss that map.

House mice breed fast. Seeing one usually means more are using the same routes — inspection beats waiting.

Signs of a Mouse Problem

  • Small pointed droppings near food or along walls.
  • Gnaw marks on packages, cardboard, or wiring.
  • Stale musky odor in cabinets or wall voids.
  • Night scratching inside walls.
  • Grease rub marks along baseboards.

Our Mice Control Process

  1. Map interior and exterior entry points.
  2. Snap-trap and exclude — minimize poison-only approaches.
  3. Seal with steel wool, hardware cloth, and sealant mice can't chew.
  4. Guide sanitation for pantries and contaminated insulation.
  5. Optional follow-up visits for older, leaky structures.

Presence of young/litterFamily removal takes extra time and a humane handling approach
Extent of damageInsulation replacement, wiring repair referrals, and sanitation add scope
Recurring or unresolved activityPrior incomplete exclusion elsewhere may require more extensive sealing
Why do I still have mice after setting traps?

The traps are catching mice that are already inside. They do not close the gap the next mouse uses. A house mouse can enter a hole the width of a pencil. Until that gap is sealed, you are on a replacement cycle, not a solution.

Is one mouse a bigger infestation?

Often yes. A female can litter about every three weeks. One mouse on the counter is a reason to inspect the kitchen, the garage, and the attic, not a reason to wait for a crowd. We look for the entry, not just the animal you saw.

Do you use poison for mice?

Trapping and sealing come first. Bait is used only when it is placed where a pet, a child, or another animal cannot reach it. Poison in an open attic is how a dog or a hawk gets the dose secondhand. We will say if bait is part of this house or not.
